Ever closer to the construction of the first commercial waste gasification plant LIFETEC

The Management Board of INVESTEKO S.A. is pleased to announce that on September 7, 2017 has signed with Węglokoks Energia Sp. z o.o. an Investment Agreement, the subject of which is to regulate the cooperation of both companies in the scope of implementation of a project consisting in the construction of a commercial plant for the production of heat and electricity based on the proprietary waste gasification technology LIFETEC.

INVESTEKO S.A. will provide primarily the required "know-how" of LIFETEC's proprietary technology and as an expert in the field, will prepare the environmental and design documentation necessary to obtain a decision on environmental conditions and building permits. In addition, INVESTEKO S.A. undertakes to acquire the property rights of the land on which the project will be implemented.

Węglokoks Energia Sp. z o.o. is interested in the development and construction of new energy sources and the development of its own energy assets, especially in the area of ​​high-efficiency energy and RES branch.

Węglokoks Energia Sp. z o.o., as a partner in the implementation of the investment committed in the concluded agreement, among others, to elaborate proposals for obtaining financing for the project and as an expert in realization of energy investments in terms of strategic and financial advice during the stage of investment implementation.

Both partner companies have committed to co-financing the investment at the required level using various financial instruments available.

Conclusion of the investment agreement with Węglokoks Energia Sp. z o.o. and the realization of the joint venture is an expression of our confidence and conviction about the economic future and ecological success of the venture.
